.

I come from a defence family. My father served in the Indian Army for over 40 years — a journey that shaped not just his life, but mine.

With ancestral roots in a small village in the erstwhile Puri district of Odisha,, I was born in an Army hospital in Assam, and grew up across India — studying in West Bengal, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu,Uttar Pradesh,Uttarakhand, Kerala, Delhi-NCT,Telangana & Andhra Pradesh This constant movement gave me a first-hand understanding of India — its diversity, its systems, and its people.

I am a proud Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) student — from the days of navy blue trousers and white shirts, Natraj pencils, and Chelpark ink pens — experiences that built discipline, simplicity, and adaptability early in life.

My curiosity for machines — especially the internal combustion engine — led me to pursue Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP), an institution shaped by the legacy of Sir M. Visvesvaraya. Engineering, for me, was not just a degree — it was a way to understand how systems work and how they can be improved.

Living and studying in Pune deepened my interest in how India was built — and how it can be built better. This led me to prepare for and clear the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2008 — a journey that fundamentally shaped my thinking on governance, policy, and decision-making.

While I did not enter the services, the journey opened doors to meaningful work. Over the next decade, I worked across multiple roles — teacher, mentor, project manager, and program director — contributing to initiatives within the Government of India and the broader employability ecosystem.

Now, in my 40s, I have chosen to step into a more global chapter. Based in Canada, I am exploring opportunities to learn, contribute, and create impact at a wider level — while continuing to mentor, build, and work on ideas that connect skills, systems, and people.

At the core, my journey has been about one thing: understanding systems deeply — and helping people navigate them better.

Today, based in Mississauga, I channel all of this into digital consulting, employability workshops, creative storytelling and mentoring — helping individuals and organisations grow with clarity and purpose.
